We believe in developing whole children. This includes introducing them to the arts.
Walker students received the benefit of participating in a Title 1 Learning Through the Arts grant. As beneficieries of this grant, our students are exposed to visual and performing arts throughout the school year.
Our teachers work with visiting artists to integrate art into the curriculum. Our students are provided opportunities to perform and explore performance talents. Our teachers arrange filed trips to explore art throughout the city. And our students produce media that showcases their emerging talents.
